Answer: The school is very academic-focused. Graduation requirements cover art, English, history, foreign language, mathematics, sports, and science. Additionally, the completion of an outdoor travel project and 80 hours of service-learning is also required. Students can choose from 131 on-campus courses and online courses from more than 35 global online academies. Although Lakeside does not offer AP courses, the intensity of Lakeside courses meets or exceeds AP courses. Lakeside provides professional college-level tutoring support to help students continue their studies in colleges and universities around the world.

Answer: Yes, and many trips:

Junior High School: Every spring, students in grades 5 to 7 will participate in outdoor field trips for their grades. Field trips play an important role in the school's educational plan and require the active participation of students. The staff of the High School Outdoor Program works with families to ensure that all students can participate in the program.
High school: High school students have a variety of travel options. Including backpacking, cross-country skiing, white-water rafting, kayaking, sea kayaking, and mountain climbing. Most of the trips are within driving distance of Seattle, allowing students to have a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Pacific Northwest. Lakeside also sends students to famous locations in the west, including the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the Grand Canyon in Utah, and the Green River. A group of 10 students is led by Lakeside teachers and experienced outdoor educators. Group members are made up of students spanning multiple grades.

Answer: Each grade has its own activity theme. The themes are diversified and there are many choices. Examples include cleaning up the environment, cleaning up garbage, preparing food, organizing supplies for foster children, outdoor travel, etc.
