Q: Does the school provide an After School Program? What is the content?

Answer: The Bush School’s after-school care plan (Club) is child-centered. Focus on social skills, develop curiosity, self-esteem, and responsibility. The care time is after school until 6 pm. The hosting plan meets the needs of students through a variety of activities, including free play, art, science, music, and sports. Students can also study in the library. After class, Club offers a wealth of courses through progressive practice methods; and is led by high-quality teachers. Courses change every year, including robotics, Lego engineering, sewing, chess club, smart art, etc. After class Club starts at the end of October and registration is provided in mid-September.

Bush School values emotional development and encourages the expression of different opinions. Q: Does the school organize field trips?

Answer: Bush School offers summer courses on the Methow campus, allowing students to explore the environment, history, and culture of the Methow Valley and learn new skills. Each camp is led by an experienced lecturer and assisted by additional qualified staff.

The camp is based on the Bush school campus, but also includes travel around the valley to explore the topics chosen by the course. The activity takes place outdoors and requires students to actively participate. Camp opening hours: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Transportation is provided to and from the Winthrop barn. Campers bring their own lunch and water bottles. All campsites charge $225 per week

Please note that members of the admissions committee will not be able to obtain any ISEE or SSAT scores, and students are required to provide their own standardized test transcripts.
